Philosophy
The perfect day needs a perfect cake and yours will be just that. Wedding cakes, cupcakes and more all designed to your theme - everything is created by hand, from scratch, by us, for you. Whether you want a traditional tiered cake, cupcake tower, dessert table or something more unusual, your cake is guaranteed to taste as good as it looks.
Heritage
Essex-born Eloise is professionally trained in Patisserie & Confectionary, receiving distinctions throughout her studies. With almost 20 years of making cakes as a full-time career, she is one of the most reputable and long standing cake designers in the region. Eloise was also featured on Channel 4's popular show "Extreme Cake Makers" and is dedicated to creating spectacular centre pieces that both wow your guests and exceed your expectations.
Process
From concept to delivery we are meticulous at every step. Discuss your cake design dreams with us and get an initial quote. From there we can arrange samples and chat about your plan for the big day. We liaise with venues and florists on your behalf and offer a full delivery and set up service so on your wedding day the cake is one thing you won't need to stress about!
Samples
Beauty is more than skin deep, and our cakes are not just a pretty face…
Your wedding day is really important and we understand that you want everything to be just perfect, so we offer selected samples of our cakes.
Sample boxes are charged at £10 initially, but this cost will be refunded from the balance of any final orders placed with us. If you have made a booking and left your order deposit already, your sample box will then be free of charge.
All boxes contain a small portion (plenty for 2-4 people to try) of all of the cake and icing combinations listed below.
Please note samples are produced in bulk so we are unable to produce any flavour combinations other than the below as samples, but when you come to order your actual cake you can choose from the wider selection of flavours above - with a little imagination!
Your sample box will contain one of each of the following:
- Victoria sponge (vanilla sponge, jam and vanilla buttercream)
- Chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream
- Lemon cake with lemon buttercream
- Red Velvet sponge with vanilla buttercream
- Carrot cake with vanilla buttercream
- Caramel sponge with caramel icing
Samples are available to collect from our shop in Chelmsford or can be posted to you for an additional cost of £5 (postage costs are non-refundable). Please email in advance to request samples.
Allergen Information
All sample flavours contain milk, soy, egg, and wheat. Carrot also contains nuts, please let us know if you have an allergy so we can exclude this from the box.
