What We Offer
When you ask for personal set up & delivery for your event, we will fully build your stand at the venue and carefully arrange your cakes to create a stunning display for you. We also liaise with your venue to arrange a discreet time to go in and set up before your guests arrive.
Our Stands
Our cupcake stands are not the squeaky, rickety sort! They are sturdy and discreet with each tier being totally clear to fit your cakes on. The stands can also be fitted with a light in them which spreads all through the perspex making them perfect for evening events too. (NB Lights may not be able to be fitted when top cakes are in use, depending on the surface of the table. Please discuss this with us if you are having an evening event.)
What Size Stand?
We have lots different sizes of stands which are all adjustable so we will assemble a stand that us just right for the number of cakes you have ordered. That way your stand won’t look to crammed, or too sparse. The maximum number of cakes you can fit on one of our stands is around 120 but don’t worry, venues and caterers will be happy to store any excess cupcakes and top up when required. We’ll arrange this with them when we set up if necessary.
Prices
Stand hire costs £30. On top of this you will need to leave a deposit cheque of £60. This is kept uncashed and is returned to you on the safe return of the stand and all it’s parts or packaging, if any.
Returning Your Stand
Please make sure you return your stand in a way in which you would like to receive it for your wedding. You can send your stand back via Royal Mail, courier or get a family member to drop it off if you are going away on your Honeymoon. For full return of your deposit, please return your stand within one week of the hire date and obtain proof of posting from the Post Office. We advise that you use a recorded / insured postal service to the appropriate value of your deposit and are unable to accept responsibility for loss or damage in the post where adequate insurance was not obtained. On safe return of your stand you can contact us to arrange the return of your deposit.
Got your own stand?
We are happy to set up your cakes on your own stand if you already have one. However it is your responsibility to make sure the cake stand is secure and of the appropriate size. A 7 tiered stand will fit 86 cupcakes and 1 cutting cake on the top. But this figure is approximate as cupcake sizes can vary! Our cutting cake boards measure 7 inches diameter, and the top tier should be of a similar size to accommodate this. Cupcake stands provided by you must be already assembled for us to set up on arrival at the venue, if not the cakes will be left boxed with the venue staff for set up later.
