Now you’ve probably heard that a lot on cake websites, but what exactly does it mean?
It never really occurred to us before to boast about the real lemon zest in our St Clements cupcakes, locally sourced eggs from happy free-to-roam chickens, fine sifted flour and UK grown sugar, or the real organic 70% cocoa solids chocolate in our Dark Side of the Spoon chocolate frosting. And it definitely didn’t cross our minds to use any artificial flavourings.
But it’s nothing to brag about really, because who in their right mind would use the fake stuff?
So basically, what you read is what you get. For real! And we wouldn’t have it any other way. Would you?
