Reopening Measures
Safeguarding our customers and employees remains of the utmost priority and we are pleased to have new measures in place for reopening to ensure this and prevent the spread of COVID -19. Like everyone, we are adapting constantly to new government information so please do continue to check this page for updates.
Socially Distanced Cake Classes
Our new teaching layout allows you extra space, we therefore recommend booking asap as places are limited. Unlike many course providers who operate from their homes or confined spaces, our shop and bakery is set over 800 square feet and will allow you space and peace of mind. We are excited to show you our newly refurbished and redecorated shop!
Rescheduling Cake Classes
We are remaining flexible to amending course places. No refunds will be given for courses booked however there are no time restrictions on rebooking your class in future if you are unable to attend. You may also transfer your class to another person.
New Future Class Bookings
If you book a class and later need to reschedule it owing to reasons related to COVID-19, we will continue to waive the usual course moving fees until the end of 2022. This applies to all new course bookings and bookings made from all previously rescheduled cake classes. You must email us at info@gourmetcupcakes.co.uk by 8am on the morning of your class to reschedule (we will be operating a waiting list for all classes owing to the new limited capacity). To reschedule, you can either choose a date from the website, or request a gift voucher to redeem further into the future. We are removing all expiry dates from gift vouchers so you can rebook any time in the future. Gift vouchers may also be transferred to another person if you no longer wish to attend.
Gift Vouchers
To give you complete flexibility in these unprecedented times, all gift vouchers purchased in 2020, 2021 and 2022 will have no expiry date. Expiry dates will also be removed for all existing voucher holders. If you have a gift voucher from a previously cancelled cake class you may now book anytime in the future, or give your gift voucher to somebody else to attend the class instead. Expiry dates will be reintroduced only on new voucher purchases from the 1st January 2023.
